Property Investment in Italy

If you’ve never been to Italy, you’re missing out on some of the most beautiful and culturally rich landscapes the world has to offer. More people are beginning to look at property investment options in Italy.

As you already know, real estate investment is one of the best possible ways to secure your financial future while still exercising your own investment prowess. And there’s no better place to find gorgeous and profit producing properties than Italy.

In our posts, we will discuss some of Italy’s impressive landscapes. Today, we look at the area of Chianti. That’s right, Chianti…like the wine. Let’s take some time to examine the beauty surrounding each and every property in this area.

Chianti is ripe with steep and gradually rolling that hills are blanketed with vineyards, rich olive groves, and colorful woodlands. Each of these characteristics are linked together by adorable postcard worthy towns and villages like Greve and Castellina.

Chianti is the birthplace of a very popular wine.  Wine production began in Chianti with the Etruscans continues to be one of the most popular outputs of the area. Chianti is one of Italy's most produced and widely popular red wines. The area itself extends from Florence to Siena, and has an eastern border on the Monte dei Chianti.

The area of Chianti is ever popular with tourists and foreigners, and this popularity shows no signs of slowing. Wine production is taken very seriously in the area and as you drive through, you should expect to see signs welcoming you to the land of the Gallo Nero, otherwise known as the black cockerel.

Black cockerel is a wine that’s full bodied and has been steadily evolving since the 70s…But let’s talk a bit more about real estate in the area; the property development and real estate market is mature in the area and is considered to be incredibly authentic to “vintage” Tuscany.

Unfortunately, the days of stumbling upon an abandoned farmhouse on one of the many rolling hillsides, and then making a purchase for next to nothing are long gone. However, you will be able to find some remaining near Greve, where unrestored properties are continually sold.  Create your own Tuscan paradise with the purchase and upgrade of an authentic Italian property. You will be thrilled with your options and you will love the investment potential of Italy’s many available properties.
